A few words about Harry: Harry originally made his name in Johannesburg as the “throaty voice” of 94.7 Highveld Stereo’s Rude Awakening breakfast show. He then went on to become one of South Africa’s youngest and most successful Theatre Producers and performers whose credits include the original smash hit musical, Big Band Blast (sold out for three seasons and garnered 5 Naledi Theatre Award), Songs from the Mediterranean, No Sugar, Canderel Please, and the show My Favourite Swings which was inspired by the release of his debut swing album CD of the same name. His most recent theatrical appearances in Johannesburg include the Broadway musical The Buddy Holly Story and HAIRSPRAY . In April of 2007 Diaspora Nostrum brought him to Toronto where he performed “Piretos: Comedy Fever” a night of excerpts from his theatrical work and comic stories of travelling in Greece as a diasporite.
