It’s time to gather and celebrate after the long winter. Just because we live in North America, it doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the European May Day- the biggest spring celebration on the continent! Invite your friends and meet new ones on May 3 @ MYTH on the Danforth. Find out what this traditional festival is all about. There will be food, drink and dance (like all good European festas).

THE ORIGINS AND TRADITIONS OF MAYDAY

DIASPORA NOSTRUM is a group of friends dedicated to organizing events, connecting people to artists, and spreading culture. Founding members, Aspasia Dassios, Maria Antonakos, Harry Sideropoulos, John Preketes, Steve Germanakos, Tom Haralampidis, and Eva Papolis-Vassilakakos, are professionals from a variety of fields. As second-generation Hellenes, they are interested in keeping ties to their own origins while creating links with other traditions.
